Middle School Test Prep & Tutoring in NYC and beyond

Admissions Test Prep-NYC and Beyond

Hunter High School (NYC)

The HCHS NYC Entrance Exam is open to 6th grade students who reside within the five boroughs of New York City at the time of application submission AND who have earned ONE of the listed criteria.

 ISEE 

The ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) is used in the admissions process for private schools nationwide. The Middle Level is for students in grades 6 and 7 who are candidates for admission to grades 7 and 8.

 SSAT 

The SSAT is the required admission test at many of the best independent schools in the world. The SSAT is designed for students in grades 3 through PG and is administered on three levels (Elementary, Middle, and Upper​​).

 Common Core 

NY State administers ELA/Literacy and Mathematics Common Core tests intended to provide students, families & educators better measures of student proficiency in the knowledge and skills students need to succeed in college & careers.

 CTP-5 

Given by the Educational Records Bureau (ERB), the Comprehensive Testing Program is administered to students in private schools as an achievement test. The purpose of CTP is to assess student growth and performance at the time of testing.
